Jaz The Rapper vs Ms. Hustle (Battle Rap Review)
Finally the battle has touchdown! Straight outta Brooklyn, Jaz The Rapper takes on the Harlem's finest Ms. Hustle to see why Smack has crowned them as first ladies in the URL. There was some problems in the battle. A lot of females battle rappers were trying to bully Jaz, while the crowd was dick riding Jaz. Plus, Hustle chokes in the 1st and 3rd rounds, while I had to use my headphones listening to Jaz cause the sound quality was really low. Sadly, the battle was not I'd expect it at all, it was ok at best. Overall, I give the battle 3 out of 5, and I’ll give you opinion on who’s got the battle:
1st Round: Hustle (their rounds was hard either way, regardless of Hustle’s chokes, she won this round)
2nd Round: Hustle
3rd Round: Jaz or Hustle (but I'll give this round to Jaz)
Winner: Ms. Hustle
Now I know majority of people are saying Jaz The Rapper won, but I don’t care what anyone of you says, Ms. Hustle won this battle 3-0 or 2-1. Her bars, delivery, and aggression outshines Jaz The Rapper. Jaz didn’t come out as hard as she usually does in her battles. She broke Hustle’s ways down a lot (which was very good), but Jaz kept on talking about who she fucked in her rounds which started to get really corny. Plus, Hustle choked on numerous occasions and Jaz still lost. Once again, Ms. Hustle proves that she still got what it takes to hold her own, even if she'd choked.

Hiking
One of my favorite things to do is hiking. There's nothing like walking around in the woods, birds chirping, and seeing beautiful sites of your city.

Lil Durk - Signed To The Streets (Hosted By DJ Drama) [Mixtape Review]
After numerous if delays its finally here Lil Durk has released Signed To The Streets! I’ve listened to it and here’s all can I say…its pretty damn good. What I truly love about Lil Durk is he has little features and he can hold songs on his own. I Can’t Go Like That, Bang Bros, Hittaz & One Night are the songs that proves the talent of his hooks, flow & lyrics that he can still make hits that’ll make the charts. The Lil Reese features for songs like Competition & Street Life also makes the tape even better cause he makes his verses better for us to enjoy the tape. As usual the tape does has its downside to it. Some songs are average for you to skip the next track which hurts the flavor of the tape (I’ll let ya’ll decide that for yourselves). Plus, Dis Ain't What You Want had bad quality & One Night beat was purposely missing the rest of the sounds, and that hurt the mixtape alot. Overall, I give this mixtape 4 out of 5. Lil Durk not only proves himself that he’s SIgned To The Streets, he’s proves that he’s here to stay in this rap game.

Lil Durk - Signed To The Streets
I can’t wait for this mixtape to drop, Lil Durk has been quite hot for a while. Even though his prior arrests has been hindering him, he’s still going hard. He’s has his own label (OTF), and he’s signed to Coke Boys. This Signed To The Streets mixtape (will be coming out tomorrow) will definitely solidify that Durk is here to stay in this music industry.

Cam'Ron - Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1 (Mixtape Review)
After a long delay, Cam has finally put out the mixtape, Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1. He’s brought a little mixture of his previous albums, that ol Dipset sound, ol school samples, & the Boss Of All Bosses series to go along with it.. He starts off his infamous entertainment skits. On the Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1 (Intro), Cam brought Cousin Bang on the track for us to give us some laughs out the way before the songs begin. Plus, the Instagram (Skit), it had a jealous girlfriend calling another female spazzing out on her just because the female like her man’s instagram pictures. The features don’t disappoint either. On Instagram (Catfish), Sen City delivers the chorus and lyrics about women, then, on Let Me Work, Ms. Hustle, Loaded Lux & Chris Miles show how good their rap skills are, and finally on Jungle, T.I. & Yo Gotti murdered the beat by talking about their pervious street life. I do have a couple of problems of the mixtape. Two songs “Think You Need Love" & "My Life" are exact replicas of Gs Up by Jim Jones & Max B & My Life by Mary J. Blige makes it hard for me to enjoy the songs (P.S. “Me Killa” is an exact replica of Da Introduction by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony but, I actually enjoyed the song) & the last track "Come And Talk To Me" should have not been on the mixtape. It messes up the flow of the tape, and it was just a response of Jay-Z’s “Pound Cake” verse. It should have been just a preview of what Cam had in store for us. Overall I give the mixtape 3.5 out of 5, Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1 proves thatCam still has some gas in the tank.

Meek Mill - Dreamchasers 3 (Hosted By DJ Drama) [Mixtape Review]
Honestly I had low expectations for this mixtape. I thought this would be another overrated mixtape that would be wack as fuck, but ITS NOT!!! Meek Mill has done a hell of a job on this mixtape to the point that you would think that it was his second album. From begging to end their wasn’t one song I can saw it was wack. The beats were on point, every guests was on the mixtape held their own by lyrics and flowing to the beat, even DJ Drama did his thang, he knew which song to talk his shit on, and it fits well with the songs. I appreciate Meekhonoring Lil Snupe by having a skit of him freestyling and making a song decidated to him. That way people will know Lil Snupe's talent and legacy still live on (R.I.P. Lil Snupe). On “Heaven or Hell (Feat. Jadakiss & Guordan Banks), its kinda a remake on The Luniz's song “I Got 5 On It”. Both Meek & Jada killed the beat, while Guordan sangs beautifully on the chorus. Meek Mill for East folks is what Young Jeezy is in the South. Makes motivational music for the people that are in need of some encouragement or help. I give this mixtape a perfect 5 out of 5. Meek proved the haters, naysayers, and critics wrong, he can still make great music, now all we need is a second album from him, and he’ll really be a force to be reckon with.

My Celebrity Crush
I can’t even lie, I’m not into celebrities, but I’ll make an acception. For some reason, I have a very huuge crush on CL. There’s something about her I like, and it ain’t the way she looks. Its her personality, attitude, character and demeanor. The way she carries herself in interviews and tv shows, I can tell its real and genuine cause she doesn’t really have to front who she really is like most celebs do. I don’t really see style like that a lot of women, so a nigga like me will bag her up quick, and turn her wifey in seconds. CL the true definition of a bad bitch ;).

Following Dreams
You know….its hard to follow your dreams when you’re surrounded by negativity. Everyone wants to put you down because you’re not living up to society’s expectations. I just had a convo with my best friend today, and he told me things that didn’t fit well with me at all. His homegirl told him that he needs to find another plan, because what if his dreams doesn’t work. Now, the regular person will agree with this, but you have to do or die in order for you to know will you succeed or fail your dream. In case you’re wondering, my best friend wants to be a taekwondo master. He trains 6 days a week, plus joining a black belt class, and training other students at the same time. So he has a lot on his plate, with no time for anything. Do you know what his sacrifice is?….Not having a 9 to 5 regular job. He can on the verge of being homeless, but luckily he has family to support him. That’s not very easy to do, not having a job especially in this economy. He’s penniless all because he’s following his dream, and I salute him for that. You know we were taught to get a good paying job, a good house, a wife, kids, and grow old and die. The highest thing you can do is..be a doctor or lawyer. That’s not the case. I believe that you can do whatever you want, besides appeasing to the average society. They’re sacrifices that you won’t like, but if you want something you can do it. Everybody had a dream, but most won’t follow it, which one will you choose.
Pretending To Be Someone Else
I never knew how to be myself. I never took the time to develop a personality, see what I like or dislike, what hobbies am I good at, or have a mind of my own. For that, I suffered a great amount. I came from being different is bad, you gotta be the same as everyone else, and if we find something that’s different about you, we will ridicule you until you become like us. For that, I decided to do that. I looked up to gangstas, rappers, players, pimps, or drug dealers because of the environment I grew in. It’ll make me cool I be like them, but what I didn’t know is I’m becoming a mindless follower. Although, it was good because people wanted to hang with you, be like you,or even fuck you, but at what cost? They just like the illusion I bring, not what’s inside my heart. I wasn’t happy for a long time because this isn’t really me, so I gave all that shit that was programmed in my mind, and started asking the question that I’ve should have done in a very long time: Who are you? It isn’t easy because I’m still trying to figure out who I am, but on the bright side is I’m happier. All the people that was suppose to be down for me, ain’t here now. The important thing is I starting to know more about myself and that’s all that matters.

Bobby Brackins - Maxwell Park (Review)
I just got hip into Bobby Brackins this week. I must say he’s growing a lot as a artist. This Bay Area Oakland, CA, cat has really stepped up. From his previous mixtapes, Pimp Hand Strong, to Stay On It, and now his new one Maxwell Park. To be honest, I was expecting Bobby to fall off (cause you know how artists are these days, they come from Slamming to Trash), but he didn’t he improved a lot. The beats, songs, and lyrics are great, and the best part is everyone from Bobby to his features helped a lot. There wasn’t one song I didn’t skip, I repeated every song from top to bottom, and the best part….no song was whack at all. Its so funny cause a rapper like Bobby Brackins should be back on mainstream, but people still sleeping on him (even me until now), Bobby can really make it in the music biz even more, but hey, independent is the way to go. I give this mixtape 4.5 out of 5 (wait! What am I'm saying) this mixtape is a perfect 5 out of 5. To be honest with ya'll, Maxwell Park is one of the best mixtapes I’ve heard so far in 2013.

Changing My Tastes In Music
I never in my life would like any types of music, but hip hop, but
little did I know I was wrong. It all started last year in the spring of
‘10, my best friend, Daevon, was listening to rock music, and one of the rock artists was Brian “Head" Welch. Head was in a band named Korn until he left the group. Head relaesed a solo debut Save Me From Myself, so
Daevon wanted me to listen to it. I was tired of hip hop so I figured
“what the heck, it wont hurt". When I first listen to the album,
I couldn’t take it. i wasn’t use to it, so I decided to junk it. About
burning out hip hop music for a bit, I’ve gotten bored of it, and
decided to listen to Head’s album again. There were three songs that caught my eye: Flush, Die Religion Die, & Money.
I was jamming to those songs constantly, until I’ve gotten used to it
and listen to the whole album without skipping songs, and love it for
what it is. On Friday, September 16th, 2011, Daevon had introduced me to another genre of music, that genre is called Korean Pop (which is short for K-Pop). I was feeling down and out until he told me to listen to a K-Pop song by a group called F(x), and the song is called Chu. It sounded so cute, and happy. I love the beat, the flow, and the lyrics (even though it was a different language). Ever since then it has gotten me hooked to K-Pop ever since. Now besides F(x), I listen to groups/solo artists like 2NE1, 4Minute, B.A.P. & Jay Park (Just to name some). If it wasn't for Daevon, I would have still been in that little bubble that wouldn't pop out of its comfort zone. Now I’m branching out of different musical genres, so thanks Daevon, you've truly been a help.

Ms Hustle vs Ms Fit
This is one of the best female battle raps I’ve seen so far. Straight outta Harlem, Ms. Hustle deliverers a heavy packing of straight bars, while the Boricua Brooklyn, Ms. Fit comes back with some funny jokes. Plus, a surprised thing that’s going to happen in this battle, but you’ll find out soon. These females both did their thang, and I hope I see more of them in the future. Here it is…Ms. Hustle vs Ms. Fit
