After a long delay, Cam has finally put out the mixtape, Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1. He’s brought a little mixture of his previous albums, that ol Dipset sound, ol school samples, & the Boss Of All Bosses series to go along with it.. He starts off his infamous entertainment skits. On the Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1 (Intro), Cam brought Cousin Bang on the track for us to give us some laughs out the way before the songs begin. Plus, the Instagram (Skit), it had a jealous girlfriend calling another female spazzing out on her just because the female like her man’s instagram pictures. The features don’t disappoint either. On Instagram (Catfish), Sen City delivers the chorus and lyrics about women, then, on Let Me Work, Ms. Hustle, Loaded Lux & Chris Miles show how good their rap skills are, and finally on Jungle, T.I. & Yo Gotti murdered the beat by talking about their pervious street life. I do have a couple of problems of the mixtape. Two songs “Think You Need Love" & "My Life" are exact replicas of Gs Up by Jim Jones & Max B & My Life by Mary J. Blige makes it hard for me to enjoy the songs (P.S. “Me Killa” is an exact replica of Da Introduction by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony but, I actually enjoyed the song) & the last track "Come And Talk To Me" should have not been on the mixtape. It messes up the flow of the tape, and it was just a response of Jay-Z’s “Pound Cake” verse. It should have been just a preview of what Cam had in store for us. Overall I give the mixtape 3.5 out of 5, Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1 proves thatCam still has some gas in the tank.
